It’s that time of the year again…… spring break! Many people are traveling and exploring new places. Vacation is a time for relaxation and fun from your hectic and chaotic life back at home. When traveling I have traditions I follow, it’s like a ritual for me.
- Whatever city or place I am visiting I have to try a restaurant that is not back at home. I love food and I love to try new places when I am on vacation. The best food I have had was in Miami at a restaurant called Havana 1957 it was amazing Cuban food.
- Explore the nightlife. I am still young and in my prime so nightlife is something I dabble in while traveling. I have seen the nightlife in many cities. Washington D.C. has been by far the best experience. The Park at Fourteenth was the best club I have ever been to, three floors with three different DJ’s. Bumping into Jamie Foxx made it all that much better too.
- Visit museums and historic places to that area. I love to learn about the culture in the places I go. The coolest place I went to was the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. They had white crocodiles and interactive exhibits and the best part a dolphin show (that is the best part because I love dolphins my favorite animal).
- Lastly, get to know the people mix and mingle with the locals. Get to know the people who live there it will help you learn that much more about the area and the culture. I will say this Cincinnati had some very nice and pleasant people.
Whatever you do while you are travel make sure that you are safe and have a good time. Remember you only live once and you work hard for everything you have so enjoy your vacation. Take the time to embrace the culture of any place you are visiting and make sure you have memories that will last a lifetime.
